“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” -Brene Brown

Welcome to my practice, I  am so glad that you are here.

ABOUT

ABOUT ME

MY APPROACH

I  believe that effective therapy happens when the client and therapist have an authentic, trusting relationship and the client is invested in their healing and growth. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy and I  strive to create a space that meets your individual needs using curiosity, empathy, and humor. I practice trauma-informed care and believe that you are the expert in your own wellbeing. Together we will work to increase self awareness, build resilience, and find meaning in life's challenges.

Mental Health Consultation

I partner with overnight camps to support camper and staff mental health. I offer needs assessments, program development, staff training, and direct support to leadership.

As a former camper and counselor, I have seen and experienced the powerful ways that camp supports healthy adolescent development. Now more than ever kids need opportunities to be offline, make connections, and explore the outdoors.

However, the landscape of adolescent mental health is changing. Campers and staff are arriving at camp with higher than ever rates of anxiety, depression, and burnout. Parents expect camps to provide more social and emotional support. I  am here to help your camp meet these increasing demands and provide an excellent summer camp experience.
